Cutting the Cord
Dr. McCreary let me cut the umbilical cord. Not as easy as you think. It's tough and sinewy. Took a couple of hard strokes of the scissors. We also gathered cord blood and sent it to the cord blood registry--just in case science proves it valuable in the future.
