Yael, Ari, and I paid a surprise visit to Zach and Stef Berkowitz at 439 Avila. Danny and I rented their house for years when we were living together in San Francisco.
I showed up unannounced and rang the doorbell, holding Ari up in his car seat. Stef swung the door open, holding her own 8-month old in her arms. You should have seen the look of shock on Stef's face when she saw us. I said, "Meet Ari." She looked even more shocked. It turns out her child is also Ari--and her other son is Eli, the name of our nephew. What a strange coincidence.
