First Blind Musher
20-year old Rachel Scdoris is the first blind musher to do Iditarod. She had hoped to enter last year, but withdrew amidst controversy about her running it. This year, she will have an assistant driving a separate dog team who will call out the hazards by two-way radio. Can you imagine the courage and confidence it takes for her to do this?
