Poor Martin: he accidentally cut off part of his finger this week while using a table saw. He went to the hospital to have it re-attached. Instead, they ended up amputating more of it off. I can't imagine how in the world he's going to change his dogs' booties, start fires, and hold his sled for two sleepless weeks with this injury. That's commitment! If he wins, maybe he'll start a trend: next year everyone will start amputating their digits to lighten the load for their dogs.
