My Mom And Big Lake In The Background
If you look closely, you can see the ice roads on Big Lake. They plow them in the winter so people can get to their cabins. Chris said that drivers push their luck in late Spring as the lake is thawing and someone usually falls through.
It was hard to match the flash-fill on my Mom's face to the exposure value for outside, considering I was less than two feet from her in a cramped single-engine plane.
