Brian Tooley on the Spencer Loop
The Spencer Loop is my favorite ski trail in Anchorage. It's got hills, views, and guarantees you a heck of a workout even if you only have a half hour! A few years back, there was some talk that the adjacent Hilltop Ski Area might expand into the Spencer Loop and force it to go somewhere else. Tough issue--I can see it both ways.
